There is a longer version than that though to be fair... ...the evo comes past about 2 seconds after that clip ends - and stays well ahead One quick RST in all fairness. Great to see the old skool cars still kicking ass Must have some serious BHP in that little car - waaaaaay off the clock

Get your name down for Spa next year. We'll film. Evo vs WR1 TBH, sh1te tread all around. On films like this, you never know who the drivers are and what the cars are. If the guy had raced a WR1, this would probably have ended up being the joke of the day on SN. I'd really be more interested to know what that Ford had under the bonnet. It might not have been the perfect animal for cornering, but it sure sounded very nice.

Yep only posted it up to wind you lot up seen as you try to wind us up Don't think it would have mattered what the Escort was up against Evo,Wr1 etc it was one very quick car (once it got going). I'm the same would love to see what it had under its bonnet & had all the turbo sounds we would all like As said before the current dates you have marked for Spa clash with me being in Portugal & i not putting of all that sun & seeing all our friends for Spa. Come to Knockhill & we'll see

Issue is that I need a car. I'd happily race a renter around the track, but it'd be much more fun to have you staring at the tail of an Evo
