WR1 with gold wheels !Havice a look at some pics on the ole Scoobypet site and found this
track day wheels maybe ? But question is.. do gold wheels look right on a WR1 ? THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
one of the reasons I love the WR1 is because its a bit different to the WR blue / gold wheel brigade !! like you say though, maybe track day wheels .... either that or the driver was ashamed of them so wore the helmet to hide his identity ?
That's the wheels that they come over from Japan with ... a lot of people have bought them from my dealer for track days and airfield days etc. Worth it cos to replace those PFF7s will cost a fortune!
so they are the wheels the dealers are selling cheap ? as they come with a WR1 when imported. ?

And what colour are your ones...
I've got 18 inches of throbbing gold!! Covered in a thick layer of brake dust til I get round to cleaning them!
I bet mine are worse! I had the most grubby car at a meet on Sunday
I always find its best to get an 18 yr old female Romanian refugee to wax it gently with her neatly trimmed bush.
Does bugger all for the shine on the car but bloody good fun to watch!!
These are the ones that were originally on them.... Nice tyres http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10535
mmmm looks familiar that car the wheels are just sti wheels and they look crap on the car, gold wheels wr1 no,no,no i say.
The wheels that were supposedly on the car before prodrive got their hands on the wr1's are the same but in anthracite The pff 7 wheels i think look the dogs, makes me cringe every time i have to put the gold ones on for trackdays they just dont do the car justice but at roughly
