Initial impressions? compared to the P1?
Only done about 50 miles in it Deb drove home, I drove the P1 last now she's going away in it tomorrow for 3 days Been down a couple of me usual roads, but it's freezing here so given up for the moment Anyway to answer your question, think it's easier to drive, better finished & build quality inside, turns in lovley, like the smaller steering wheel. Performance, well don't think there's much difference, some places the P1 feels quicker and some the other way round. It aint the raw drivers car the P1 is, feels a bit more grown up if you know what I mean, both terrific cars, pleased we changed but too early to say which I prefer to drive when having a play

Thanks gents 12K on the clock, only extra is CD multichanger...........at the moment Planned mods, Defi's, need to change the white ones for BF's Front splitter maybe, not yet decided & would like a strut brace are the wheels silver
have to confess they have been refurbed due to light curbing on the N/S alloys, match the centre OK and looked the same as the other WR1 at the dealers that hadn't been refurbed. May be the light?? Cheers Paul

Car returned in one piece, but Deb had a puncture, anyway found it early so no damege to the rim, stuck at 50mph most of the way home. I will get to drive this car sometime Fancy a splitter but not sure, spent 3 years watching the lip on the P1 , there are advantages for having a higher front end :D

I find my WR1 is worse than my P1 for getting too close to the floor Although it looks higher I dont think theres much in it and with a splitter it would be much lower This is why I diddent get one in the end
Ant,
Had an my99 uk classic,
Then got P1 (0329),
Then got a brand new WR1 (092),
Then got a my00 UK Classic,
Then got another P1 (0488), Now Sold.

Same with me Ant, would love the splitter but i've put a wee scrape on the underneath of the bumper turning in an uneven junction As soon as i did that all ideas of a splitter were put on ice as making the front lower was asking for trouble. Still yern for it when i see the likes of Spikes car with it on. Ps Happy motoring Paul
