Its a track day special the name of the car kinda gives it away !!! If everybody thought like you they'd never have developed beyond the horse and cart My brother recently sold his elise - drove it every day for 3.5 years, lives in Scotland - no problems whatsoever, fabulous car, it felt more special everytime I drove it. Really wish he had kept it

Right... mind you, if everyone thought like you, we'd all be driving around electronically restrained bubbles at 60mph on the roads and only be allowed to have fun if we're locked up on a track. Hell, get your car sideways when you go to work in the morning ! Take it to a forest track and drive it as if you nicked it !!

Haven't got a clue about your point here - and anyway have actually been above 60mph on the roads, but never more than 70 Torrekens wrote:Hell, get your car sideways when you go to work in the morning ! Take it to a forest track and drive it as if you nicked it !!

Grown up... What does he mean ? And what can you lose by getting your car sideways on the way to work or on a forest track ? I bet you can't even lose your driving licence for that.

I borrowed an 190 exige for a weekend and its a class car...
So this one must be amazing ... 12 months ago i had an elise 111r but only managed to keep it for about 6 months.. you can only use them in the dry and warm. the mpg is the dogs but they break down once a week , sometimes twice.. the toyota engines are fine but rest of it falls apart around it.
in six months - two gearboxes / three radiators and alot of headaches
if i could afford two cars this would be my 2nd ... even with all the problems.
Type R
