"WR1" For SaleFollowing my life changing situation I've decided to sell the alphanumeric characters 'W', 'R' and '1'.
The characters will be printed in blue with a yellow outline, on an A4 sheet (80g/sq.m) and posted to you in a brown envelope marked "Please Do Not Bend". I'm looking for £6,000 for each character, I'm open to offers but if they are less than £6,000 they will be politely declined. P&P will be priced on distance from Harrogate but expect to be ripped off in spectacular fashion. Sample 'W': [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
OMG, I'm on the floor. All this proves is as Bid politely suggested - you have no life.
I'll offer you £3 because the letter looks quite cute. I have a mate called Wayne. That's his Xmas present sorted.
Excuse me? [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]

They look like top quality letters mate and an absolute bargain at that price. I think you are going to damage the WR1 market though selling them that cheap. They look like mint low mileage one owner examples so I wouldn't take less than 8 grand a piece for them.
I would bite your hand off myself, but what with me losing me job, the wife expecting our 12th nipper and the fact I owe Bob at the pub a tenner I can't stretch to it at the moment. I could pay in instalments over the next 300 years if that's any good? L
You obviously know a bargain when you see one Crock!? I can extend credit to 300 years if you like, the interest will be applied at 6000% a year so you'll probably have to sign your house and family over to me too. If your parents are insured I could probably accept them as a deposit? Look forward to hearing from you soon mate [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Cheers Bono, breaks my heart having to use work resources to provide this necessary service but I can see the demand for quality is still abound in the recession.

This thread has had 172 views already and the letters are still for sale- 'I don't believe it!' L

That's a better deal than I could get with any High Street Bank who generally ask for a 98% deposit as well. Have you ever considered providing mortgages? L
Never thought of that, Lee. I'll see what the FSA say about setting up a financial institution. I'm not sure "selling paper with letters on" is going to stand me in good stead but you never know... Could be interested but i need to know before deciding if you will be charging extra to post to the Highlands of Gods great country as i have an IV postcode and some people seem to charge us extra for p&p. I hope you are an honest seller and won't take the piss.
I'm an honest scouser, Gee. I wont take the piss like some people who like to rip people off. I will personally drive it up to your house for the modest additional charge of £40,000. You will be pleased to know that this will include fuel. [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
