my feeling is you get better support from non leather interior, otherwise you slide about in your seat when your giving it big licks in a bend!

As far as i know not an option from new, I remember asking the dealer when i bought mine. Unless the Dealer sorted something out for the guy at the time.
That is a point Seany but its not as if its like sitting on sheet ice! There is a WRX SL model that comes with leather and it does look nice.
Im thinking WR1 stitched into the seat back instead of the red STI. Had one quote of 1k to do it plus option of heated seats extra 300 (fitted)
Cant anyone recommend any trimmers down south.I dont travel north very well, i get a nose bleed past Watford!

The wife used to have a wrx sl and have also driven the spec d which has leather as std, looks good and handy if you have kids but you do not feel so secure going round corners and i am not sure how the Subaru quality leather will stand the test of time.
The WR1 be safe in the knowledge that, short of strapping yourself to an Acme rocket, there's no quicker way to get from A to B.

not sure that you can do this that easily...
the material that is perforated in the front seats are actually glued to the foam backing...so this would have to be either left on, or carefully prised off.
I did my back seats but just replaced the centre black stuff with the same alcantara used in the fronts.

Yes I was told that too buy a local firm, which meant they obviously lost the business. He turned it down rather than make a mess of it.
