No mate no one is bullying me. Its nothing like that, We have a new car now so sadly we are selling our wr1 but due to the previous owner still having it advertised on here. We are having problems selling it so we ant to get that ad removed as they have never removed it.

Hi
Its my other halfs car which i rarely go in. I think it has done 37k and i am unsure about the build number. It is in excellent condition in and out it has just been serviced MOT'd loads of reciepts for it etc 10 stamps in the book ( i think) all done at subaru we are wanting £14,500 for it.

So you did. Sorry, I do not recall reading your message as I get a lot of PMs. In your PM you claim the car is number 467? Can you confirm and I will find the thread in question tomorrow. I must have read your PM after a few beers and I totally forgot to look into this.
In truth I'm not known for my memory so please PM a reminder to me tomorrow.
Regards.

Back in Feb 2008 the car was advertised with 40k miles?
I will try and contact the previous user to confirm we have the same car.

This claims 36k miles.
Seems there are a few places it appears on the internet with less miles now than when it was advertised in feb2008.

If it's been clocked that much surely the mot's and service history doesn't match up,

I seem to recall there have been rare instances where the wrong build number has been advertised in 2 places at the same time on t'interweb... or it's been clocked? If it's been clocked then surely the stamps in the book would show up abnormalities??!! Unless they've been 'doctored' too..
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]

You could check all the old mot's on line to see how much it's been clocked,
For the past couple of years every mot may show the cars only
done 1000 miles between mot's

think this is great, you get to find out if you are buying a car off somebody genuine or i,ll rephrase that a genuine car,it is better imho to buy a genuine car with higher genuine millage than a doctored clock one,it would be good to have maybe a register with build number and millage at acertain date so any potential enthusiast buyer knows there is a good chance they are buying a genuine good "1".only my thoughts though
it is better to have had a wr1 and lost it than never to have one at all.

as previously stated by me,i,m shite on computers, but was wondering if it would be an idea to add a " shit list " to the register for similar known or dodgy numbers, goes to show that the club must be the best place to buy "1".great work by a great site

You would not believe how much time I have spent looking into this.
History on this site stands and will not be deleted. Buying a WR1???? come and ask the question on the WR1oc first.

Good piece of detective work WR1 Bro.
All very strange mileage wise , all so
proves how good this site is for tracking
previous owners, mileage, history etc.
WR1 Number 476

How about when you get your wr1 and put a thread up in WR1 register
you can also put the millage in aswell as build no,
You can put this as a sticky beside the other one in the wr1 register,

Aslong as all the MOTs and servicing have been verified through subaru then what is everybodys problem as there is obviously a mistake somewhere. It would never put me off buying a vehicle as long as it can be verified through subaru and as long as it verified through the MOT register. I think a lot of people on here know absolutley nothing are just idiots. You don't even know all the facts no-one does and yet you've all just sla**ed off the car. Half of you jokers probabaly don't even own a wr1 and it is just in your dreams. I am sure there is alot of people thinking the same as me and just daren't speak out.

FPMSL. Nobody is stopped from speaking out on this forum. You can have your say and form your OWN opinion.

"If" whoever buys this car gets all the mot's verified, service history verified, get's a professional vehicle check(AA or RAC) and does a dvla reg check, then I see no problem.
"mrneale" there does seem to be some failings with regard to the milage with no 467 perhaps you could clarify ?
Has for half of us jokers who dont even own a WR1 or a 23g car
There is only 1 person who has commented on ths thread who has not owned or still own WR1.
