What are people's experience(s) of the Whiteline ARB's (front and rear) and Front Strut Brace + Rear adjustable SB?
I've spoken with Bro and Adam already and having considered Perrin and Whiteline, I think Whiteline products will work better as an everyday car...
Was going to get the drop links too but after speaking with Bro, think that the standard Subaru ones will be staying on....
Anyone else had driving experience of Whiteline ARB good/bad? What about the ALK?
Cheers

Whiteline are ok and cheaper than perrin, but the paint on them is crap we shot-blasted and powder-coated mine black so they look original,I have exe-tc fitted and was told by them that ALK are not any help.
Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.

Ditto on the quality of whiteline, but it works well, as Chris said with
exe-tc the alk is not needed, but with standard suspension it helps.

Cheers guys, I don't think the budget will stretch to Exe's.... would love them though but AP's are first on the 'big budget' list!!
What sort of price did you get your Exe TC's for Chris?
What about ALK with the Whiteline ARBs? Does your comment still apply Chris?

ive had a google around for more information on the ALK. Many say dont bother with it and just to get coil overs when budget allows it. They apparently dont stop the car body lifting and moving about so when you accelerate, the nose lifts.. and when you brake the nose dives... it doesnt improve this at all as i expected. it is purely to do with the wheels angle on the road apparently. They also said pot holes are more harsh with an ALK...
I think we need some advice from those that have had it fitted separately too as most put ALK on as part of other bits and dont do a bit at a time.

Potholes - if you want a limo get a Merc. If you want a focused Subaru then there is ALWAYS a trade off with respect to comfort... Some of us have enough padding to ride out the bumps

Exe-TC's - £1600? + fitting (how much?)
Just wondering whether it is worth biting the pillow and taking one up the ayse.... in the words of P033465oh

i can fit the ext-c's but have no alignment facility, so you would be best using someone with the right equipment like asp or power station, sorry.
i can supply tea or coffee, if you want beer like bro you have to bring that yourselves.

Sorry Adam, I wasn't sure!!
I was just wondering whether it would be worth going for the Exe's because if you end up throwing the ARB etc away, it would seem like a bit of a waste getting the ARB's ALK fitted....
I guess the question I should have asked was - Would there be a noticeable difference in handling between ARB's ALK etc and the ExeTC setup?
