Congrats mate on getting your wr1 - very nice indeed!
Get Chips Away to sort the scuff out on the driver's side wheel. With all due resprect, do like the look of the EVO 6 though - Tommy Special huh?
Looks good only problem that would bug me is the wing decals are back to front, n/s has been fitted to o/s and vice-versa. Also just noticed the stickers on the doors are in the wrong place they should be just below the swage line not above maybe its had paintwork ??
Ant,
Had an my99 uk classic, Then got P1 (0329), Then got a brand new WR1 (092), Then got a my00 UK Classic, Then got another P1 (0488), Now Sold.
Thankyou all, well apparently all the Decals were taken off but the last owner before selling it, put them back on.........Apparently he paid a Subaru garage to do it.......So your guess is as good as mine. But thankyou but did realise they were the wrong way round but didnt know about the STI ones on the doors, But it will all come in time , like these wheels, I must admit there all pretty bad at the moment but will wait for winter and then sort them out after, will be having them powder coated
Thankyou again peeps www.wwjpc.co.uk Wales "n" West Japanese Performance Cars WR1 495
Welcome.
Be careful with powder coating. I have heard the treatment can warp these lightweight wheels. ScoobyDan might add more to this.
Heat needed to apply powder coating can possibly cause alloy to warp ! 2007 BMW M5
2004 Petter Solberg STi
Thats for the heads up, think I might knock that on the head then and just get them resprayed then

Don't worry about the powder coating of the wheels. Weare blessed with experts in B-ham who do all sorts of wheels to very high standards. MAC-1 had his done there and Evo3695 (his mate) had his done too. Look up Laptab on tinternet.
I must admit, I have had a look on that site and look a good firm to do them, had a quote of £258.50 which I thought was good aswel

ex owner of wr1 495hi mate glad the wr1 is still owned by somebody in the club, i owned 495 when she had 4,500 miles on the clock and bought her from a subaru dealer for £29,995. she never let me down and was great fun to drive. she was used every day and allways turned heads where ever we whent, glad to see she is still alive and going well. liked the photos dont know what past she has had but the stickers and the scuffs on the alloys wasnt on there when i owned her. have you got any mods planned for her in the future. martin

Re: ex owner of wr1 495
HI Martin, she is going to be well looked after with me, going to have the wheels sorted after christmas and the decals are now the correct way round, had to do it as it was on the stand at Japshow Finale No plans for her other than keep it standard mate, must update the pictures soon as its looking a little better now as its been polished every weekend since Ive owned it (about 4 weeks now) Just given it a service myself so I know everything is done properly but will be in soon for its 50'000 service by subaru so its got its stamp . And its still turning heads Stay in touch mate oh have you got another one or is that the picture of 495 on your Avatar??? www.wwjpc.co.uk Wales "n" West Japanese Performance Cars WR1 495

Just thought I would update a few pictures, Ive now had the wheels powder coated this week and wrapped in new rubber, while the wheels were off, applied some underseal under the rear wheel arches as it had come off in quite a few places, also put new centres in the wheels, hard work to find them cheap but bought them from ebay for £35 brand new Well chuffed with that
New mudflaps A few pictures from a very foggy hill near me Thanks for looking Wayne www.wwjpc.co.uk Wales "n" West Japanese Performance Cars WR1 495
What zorst have you got on your 1 Wayne?
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Its a custom made back box that was on the car when I had her, I wouldn't say its overly loud just a tad louder than the Prodrive back box www.wwjpc.co.uk Wales "n" West Japanese Performance Cars WR1 495
