Hopefully Robin will organise this?
Robin - when do you think we need to book by? Should we get a table reserved for the number we've currently got, then adjust closer to the time if we need to? Whats the score on timing?

Will do this morning now we have a clear idea of numbers, I'll book the 12.30 sitting as that is the only preference expressed so far. I am sure it will not be a problem to adjust numbers closer to the time.
I'll confirm later when I have booked.

12:30 would suit us better too. We'll be heading South as we're up North on the Saturday if anyone wants to convoy donw from somewhere

Hiya,
Convoy is fine with me as long as you dont go too quick as the missus starts having kittens ... As for location, shall we head for a service station on the M1 at a certain time? Maybe a good idea to PM mobile numbers of people in the convoy in case of any hold ups? I will be getting on the M1 in Leeds so let me know where and when and I will be there.
Cheers
Martin
PS ive no idea where the name megaman came from..

yer what time?
Dan - where you coming down from?
We can hook up earlier up the M1 if you like?
Just done a routeplan and it says it will take me 2hrs 15mins to get to leicester forest from my house. Then a further 1hr 10mins to get from Leicester forest to the restaurant. If we are meeting at 12:30 then we need to be looking to get there for 11:00-11:15ish to keep on time i guess?
eek that means ive got to be up and off for 9am on a Sunday..
Cheers
Martin

we'll need to make a 10am stop to feed the baby somewhere, and will be heading down from Darlington, so not sure whereabouts we'll have had to get to by then? Where are you leaving from?

For those coming from the North down the M1 (those coming from the South see later post)
It is worth noting that some satnavs and route planners try and bring you down to Junction 16 (this is the correct Jct if coming from the South on the M1).
From the North leave the M1 at Junction 18, the Daventry DIRFT Exit, then follow the signs to Daventry itself and from Daventry follow the A423 signposted towards Banbury.
You will turn right off the A423 to Priors Marston and from there follow the signs to Priors Hardwick.
Dan - I did Croft (Darlington) to home in 3 1/2 hours last Sunday driving a fully laden van, towing the race car so you should be able to do the jourmey in 3 hours.
Mega - If your coming from Leeds I would of thought 2 1/2 hours was a more realistic estimated journey time.

Lets aim to meet at Leicester Forest East at 11am or there abouts.
I'd say Leicester was more like 1hr 30 mins max from Leeds mega

dan - it will take me 20 mins or so to get to the M1 from my house. I went from Newcastle airport to my house in just over an hour but that included 15-20 mins off the A1M. I expect you will be joining the M1 at around 10am if you set off at 9am. The first services I will come to are probably going to be:
Woolley Edge Services
Motorway: M1
Where: Between Junctions 38 and 39
Site Type: Facilities accessible from one direction only
Postcode: WF4 4LQ
Operator: Moto
If you can manage to wait until 10:20-10:30 to feed the little one then we can meet up there if you like?
Alternatively give me a bell when you stop and let me know where you have got to and I can set off accordingly and meet at the next available services or spot...
Robin - if traffics good once on the M1 it takes me 2 1/2 hrs to get to northampton J16 so yer its just the treck getting to the M1 that will take some time through slow moving leeds.
