Prodrive Front Lip Spoiler[b]"Front Lip Spoiler
Prodrive has developed a functional front lip spoiler for the Subaru Impreza designed to enhance the vehicle
looking at the date's probably not, but you never know, try and phone dealer or prodrive for a bit more info, i am off into mine this afternoon will ask, and see what they have to say.
That would be cool if you found out anything.
I asked at my dealer and they said they would get back with a price. Parts woman did call back and said that Prodirve don't do one. I couldn't ask anymore at the time because I was in a meeting at work. Looking on the website I'm not sure if she came across the one I have mentioned.
Does it claim to have the same benefits as the Prodrive one?
Talking of lips Jaycee... you are due a thick one mate!!
just got back, not much joy at the garage, found it on the subaru and prodrive sites, but no info about fitting a wr1 so sorry not much help, scott lowe does some nice ones, especially the carbon one
i know millie has one on his, it looks fantastic it is just the price, if you get the least priced ones, you still need to get sprayed so probably not much in it after this.
I'm pretty sure that the prodrive ones fit the WR1 ... my dealer was going to get me one before I opted for the Rally finned spoiler. Scott's lowes Carbon one is the nads but gets chipped to sh!t on long drives - especially in this weather.
Re: the aerodynamics - i'm not sure whether you'd feel much benefit under 140mph.
Appreciate your comments. Sounds a bit pointless then!
it makes it low enough to have to worry about speed bumps, pit holes and general uneven roads. I couln't buy one even if I wanted to as the entrance to and from my road has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge slab to negotiate over - which would scrape all that lovely carbon up.
Save money and spend on gauges or uprated ICE would be my suggestion. Although there is no denying that the lip spoiler looks bl00dy gorgeous when fitted and totally changes the front end look of the car. very sexy
I've got a genuine STi/Genome front splitter fitted to my MY04 STi.
It's fitted with PFF7's and Prodrive spring kit, so it should be similar to a WR1 as far as clearance is concerned. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/ ... G_0929.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/ ... 9e8fd8.jpg
The clearance should be the same. Nice pictures by the way, it finishes the car off well.
Too petty to be a traffic warden...
Did realy fancy getting the splitter but after putting a little scrape in bottom of low bit of spoiler i thought na its going to get scraped to bits. Does look LOVELY though
Trying to make up my mind about Defi's at the moment.
I've got the carbon splitter from Scott Lowe, IMHO it finishes off the front of the car. I have lots of speed bumps and do not have any issues, on the vaery odd occassion it will bottom on say a steep drive , but that has been rare. If you approach slow then normally ok.
Had an incident on the road , what I thought was carboard box was wood and it took a large piece out of the splitter. Had to wait for a new one, and the car did not feel the same at speed, so I would have to sya that they do make a difference. Was fitted by the dealer from new so always had it one. STIPPP did not have one, I hawayd felt the WR1 feels better. By the way Scott Lowe, top bloke, told him what had happen and he did the new one at cost plus P&P.
Have to say they do finish the front off a treat.
Hats off to Scott Lowe for the replacement at cost THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
