My classic projectnot too long after i got it
last months mods: now So far I`ve managed to get a new front bumper for it and will be putting it in the bodyshop shortly for a new front panel Last edited by littl`un on Thu May 10, 2007 10:29 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Ouch?
What mods have you done under the bonnet? Did you not have pics on the Island website with your engine on a bench etc or am I confusing your car with someone elses? Keep us updated with your progress... make sure you post pics as you go along?
No I haven`t had the engine out of mine but I think I know who you`re on about. It`ll be fixed, I`m thinking of maybe going 2.5 for the engine too. Under the bonnet wise there`s not a lot to be honest. Due to my age I`ve only modded it lightly till the insurance drops sufficiently.

But JD doesn't have a mate? Does he still have his Scooby? He was talking of selling it.
oh yes he still has it. he sold the house instead i`m sure you`ll all hear all about it when he next gets online
No, the sun was in my eyes as the road rises at the end of it to join the main road and basically, I hit a parked milk float at 15mph
Ouch Sorry to hear that. Good luck with the restoration and, as Bro says, keep the pics coming as you go along. I hope the insurance man is kind to you
Oh dear... Have you got any pics of the milk float?
BumpYep,
Sorry to see your car like this but I know just how you feel; my son was devastated after his skirmish last month and still keeps looking at his pics. I suppose the good thing is that nobody was hurt
It's not a enjoyable experiance having a accident, no matter who the guilty party is !
But one thing can you put a "taxi" light in the roof scoop 2007 BMW M5

stripped the front end down last weekend:
can see the damage in more detail now this is what i`m hoping it to look like eventually:
Keep the 22B rep front and WRC mirrors but lose the awful spots and hideous roof vent and it will be tasteful.......Different and individual.
Build it as in the pic but then go and live in Bradford where it might be appreciated. If JP is Roland Rat, them I am Errol the Hamster... His number 1 fan.

Call it personal taste, but I'd be with little'un on this.
I would respray tha car rally-blue, give it some large 'tarmac' gold wheels and I'd consider Impreza WRC (97-99 model) bulging wheelarches.
Now you are talking....
the thought has crossed my mind a few times, I will see as I get to different stages of the rebuild what happens but thats definitely a possibility
after smashing up my scooby a couple of months ago I finally got round to taking a load of pics the other week to get quotes for repairs. About an hour after this I got a phone call from a mate offering me an sti 3 with a blown head gasket for
Thats looks like Ben's motor
Well looked after even, if the head gasket has gone 2007 BMW M5

yes mate you`re right, thats why i couldn`t resist it
its going into Aj`s this week sometime adn I`m coming over the bank holiday weekend so should be collecting it then
Why did the head gasket go ?
Ben was a true enthusiast and the car was always in first class condition, pretty sure he would'nt have cut corners on it. 2007 BMW M5
