i hate to open a can of worms but should i decat the centre section cat will it need remapping after it is removed does it make much of a difference your opinions will be much appreciated

Centre section is DE-CAT, although it looks loke it has a "cat" the one you can see is just a cover made to look like a "cat" . If you de-cat you only need to Downpipe.

so would it be benificial to just get a straight through pipe for the centre section instead of the cat looking pipe

Doubt it would improve performance much if at all, but it would release a bit more 'burble'

It is straight through mate - the bit that looks like a cat is just bolted on. Its not actually part of teh exhaust!! Dunno why the hell they did that?

ok so can i take it only cat is downpipe cat so if that is removed for a bellmouthed downpipe would it need remapping at all ?

Depending on the car, but 330-350bhp with torque the same mate. Come to the RR on 24th March at WRC have a run there to see what she's producing at the moment Speak to Allan and Chris there and they will put you right, they have done plenty of "1"s now

ok well my mate has just took a decat off of his sti type uk so i may as well fit is cos its nice and shiny and lighter
