I have been in touch with the organiser of the Scooby Shoot out on the 27th May at Elvington near York. I asked if we could bring the WR1 owners club and he wants to know how many WR1's we could bring, I don't know how much this will be yet. Anyone with any interest please add your name to this post. Thanks.
1, Mick C.

Just near York, Same place the hammster smashed up that jet car. Put my name down for that Mick. Might take her round the handling track this year instead of doing dohnuts on the wet car park

Thanks for the support gents, it would be good to get a few more, where's Paul N and Stijoy [one last fling before the car goes Mick]. Anyone wanting an over night, we have one spare double bed and secure parking for the car.

You can't miss it Gaz, There is a complete forum dedicated to SSO. And banners all over the place. So are no WR1 owners willing to compete? You can't all be show and shiners surely? Surely one off, if not the, greatest Impreza should wipe the floor with all the knacked classics that will be there?

I was there last year and some of them knackered old classics were packing between 400-600bph. A Mr AFR was there and he wiped the floor with everything. Carnt remember what his quater mile sprint was. But i have since heared that he topped over 200mph down the runway I was thinking last year of going on the quater mile sprint but i did'nt want to put my clutch though it. Handling course this year for me i think later on when all the nuggets have had there fun Show and shine first and watch everybody else. Ps, It was a great day out apart from the weather last year...

you can always leave the Evo at my house and go with us Dan, as long as you take your shoes off before sitting in my car, what you like with a polishing cloth

There was every car under the sun on the sprint last year mate. Scoobs, Evos, skylines and even drag bikes. Fun for all. I think the handling was won by a little exige if i remember right. He got a good lap in before the rain came. Think he would of been hard the beat even in the dry though. The car park was a sight though with around 1000 to 1500 scoobs and evos, Looked well C L...

That's what I am after, someone to come and polish the car. I have loads of carbon bits to fit and most of the engine is at the chromers. I could do with 600 bhp to make up for the extra weight I am pulling, and I don't mean the wife. [/img] You will have to come up and see the rest. Bro
