Some of us would have to do "nil by mouth" for three months!

Fit in ? I am more worried about my ears acting as aerodynamic bareer. It's 500 quid for the day, Dan

Trust the skinny Mod to struggle with the concept of myself and a few others struggling to fit in a Caterham!

I think it's a bit exaggerated in fact. I don't think you're really that fat. You're sure a pretty strong guy, as is Martin and Mick, but you sure should fit in normal places. The only one who might actually be a bit over that limit is Dan.

I've driven a Caterham once before. Shoes off for that little extra room. I certainly wouldn't be taking it around a track as it was just TOO small.

Too petty to be a traffic warden...

I definitely would need an SV to fit in... As far as I know, you can hire a caterham for 1 or 2 persons. I don't think they allow to hire them for 10 persons. That's why I asked a collegue whether he was interested. Ofcourse I knew beforehand he would love the idea

True. Bro's a bit of a shorty compared to you You're OK on headroom in the Caterham though. You can indeed hire a Caterham for two. But as we will be there with our own cars as paying members to go on the track, nothing stops us trying our "friend's car". There is no difference between me trying Fraser's T25 or wrecking the 1mposter and Dan, Martin or Spike having a go in your Caterham

I'm starting to get a bit scared For the record I had my car back to Litchfield this week for some bits and bobs to be done. Everything was done FOC, as it should habe been anyway. The main thing was to sort out the handling which they have done. It's all down to tyres. I've ruined the Toyo's driving round Donington so the front end feels a bit vague now. It will get better b ut there's only one recourse - Pirelli Corsa's as soon as I can

The only toyos for track are the 888's as i have them they are awsome in the dry they where excellent around the nurburg could'nt fault them. Downside not great in the wet and are a it noisy on road and do seem to tramline quite a bit unless rd is ver smooth. I usually run the toyo T1R on road but once you get them too hot like on track or spirited driving on the road they go like jelly, all over the place, so they are good in the wet and are really only good for normal driving. I dont think there is such a thing as an allround tyre, there is always a compremise with tyres i think
Always try and get to B from A very Quickly !

I found the ADVAN 046's good. Work fine in dry and in rain, but hate being cold...

You're spot-on, Woz! Absolutely correct. I didn't have much experience of thr T1R's and it showed! It's a touchy, subjective matter, but I'm afraid I still prefer the Pirelli's matey Got some nice T1R's second-hand if you're interested though?
