Not sure I could handle the power. Does it come with a free crash helmet?
Deisels are easy to gain more power.
Start with a Inline Black box - this adds more fuel to the injecters Then more air by adding a induction kit. Then more Boost, Take your turbo off and send it to Turbo Technics and bobs your uncle No Warranty LOL !! THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
Never understood the desire to chip diesels... I have a diesel because I can't afford to run petrol every day. Why then chip it and make it drink more fuel?
but deisels chip very well, they provide more torque.
Take a look at my TDi Caddy Van its a 1.9 and now with all the mods Peak Torque is 220lbs at 2000rpm the torque curve ont he graph reads like a skyscraper ! it goes up verticly ! To have so much power low down makes its great fun to drive as well. THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
Yes I know all this... but it still isn't direct replacement for a fun petrol car.

Audi 2.5TDi a no goer !
Very fragile engine even without the tuning ! Bro' has a point. I don't understand why you'd get a diesel and then make it take as much fuel as a petrol (especially as diesel is more expensive than petrol in the UK). Plus, modern diesels are so highly tuned I just started to stay away from them. 1600 to 2000 bar in an injection system... that is 1600 to 2000kg of pressure on every square cm ! And then they're surprised it goes wrong. Other area of issues is the transmission. The current TDi's, HDi's, etc deliver their power so brutally and over such a narrow band that it's not unusual to see transmissions go after only 125K miles.
