I Know a song...
D.I.V.O.R.C.E.......................easy mate, man up and fuk her off.... Crash bang wollop!!
Called being pregnant, i think she is nesting
Im taking the approach its better not to get stressed whilst preggers with a house move so we need to do the right thing for the new baby etc... There is hope for me keeping my boll*x yet
Oh yes - RESULT!
Imagine my sadness today to hear from the estate agent that someone else has put an offer in on the house she wants. Life can be so cruel sometimes.
Imagine the explanation to the doctors of you came to be wearing a turbo when Emma sees this thread [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
She wont get to see this thread... hopefully otherwise things could go a bit pete tong...
well kinda....she is preggers already so you might of missed out on the Friday night bottle of booze to console her..
a few 'neverminds honey' ... 'we'll find a better one' .... and bob's your uncle your waking up Sat morning with the joys of spring! now you have the perfect get out of now 'needing' to save up for a bigger deposit so you can a bigger one. A few months grace right there.
Genius idea Andy... in the mean time id better get selling some old stuff on Ebay to recoup some funds into the "savings" account
Can't always avoid joint accounts.... but you can always avoid putting ALL your money into it!
Sounds like you a "part" broken.
Fortunately, there is no joint account here either. But then I bloody pay everything anyhow...so no worse off I suppose. The toys come from the business account. 'Simulator R&D'!
Can't believe you spent your FAMILY FUNDS that was intended for a dream home, to sort out your blown engine !
You have a son another on the way, have you no morals in this current econmic crisis.....family first car last ! you stupid boy 2007 BMW M5
2004 Petter Solberg STi
1. I had no idea she was even thinking of moving house 2. It was a case of want vs need with the car and I soon realised I NEEDED the car back 3. The kids would be far worse off if we moved house and trippled the mortgage!
Oh no, just when I thought I was safe the wife today comes out with "We can use the money we would have spent moving on doing up this house" followed by "ive been pricing up a new kitchen, en suite and laundry room layout"...
What is it with women? and more importantly how do I get out of this one?
In situations like this you ask yourself 'What would Fred West do?' Previously:
Subaru Impreza WRX (P95 CJH) Subaru Impreza WRX (DV52 LJZ) Subaru Impreza WRX STI WR1#131(VE04 LUW) Subaru Impreza STI Hawkeye Spec C (YD06 NGT) Subaru Impreza 22B #377 (S22BHU) Now: Subaru Impreza STI Hawkeye Spec C Type RA
why invest so much money into the house when you want to move again anyway?? easiest of fixes!
depreciation, builders not coming in on time, loads of mess have to move out whilst work being done, not good on the little one and unconveniant etc etc done!
Don't do it !!!
Once you've done the work she'll still want to move house ! Been there - done that ! Get saving and look for the next dream house, hopefully it will take a while to find it and buy you time you need?
House prices not moving up so no rush to move up ladder.
Don't need cost and stress of all the work to current house with baby on the way and for no added value to property (guess). Does your wife's proposed upgrade involve planning authority requirement which will timewise impact on new baby arrival so undesirable? Hence, do nothing, checkout areas for moving up ladder later, keep eye on market. When baby a few months old and all running smoothly go for move up armed with experience of larger family requirements and nursery/school locations. With money saved from not upgrading existing do upgrades to new property which will be of long term benefit to you all. Make sure scooby does not grenade it's engine again
Thanks for the advice guys, she has been leaving magazines around to hint at wht she wants.. magnet kitchens for 10k.. yeah right like thats gonna happen
10k.... That'll get you a fitted homebase kitchen Lmfao!!
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
hmmm, I reckon she is trying to add value to your house so she can spend more on a new one
She will suggest that u sell the 1 soon and get a "practical family car" Nobody told me it was this brutal !
