Just an STI style one, polished alloy bar, pink ends. Massive difference to steering response. eBay £39.99. Bargain

Nope, not standard. They were around the £150 mark each at the time.

It matches my screenwash
even the most feeble-minded simpleton could fit it easy, just undo the three bolts on the strut tops, put the end bits over the threads and tighten the nuts back up. Then tighten the bolts where the bar joins the end plates and hey presto, a nice stiff front end.

If you believe that....
Half of Liverpool are now checking to see if their strut braces have been lifted by a scally...

Fitted the front strut brace this evening and I see what you mean stevek, Its like a completely different car, doesnt track half as much and the ride seems to have smoothed out a bit, didnt lose any teeth on the big lumps in the road when i took it out tonight !
Well worth forty notes IMO, Dont know what the rear one is like to fit.....quick look tonight tells me I may have dropped a small bollock
all in all very sound advice stevek cheers

IIRC you have to remove rear seats x4 10mm bolts, then take off rear strut nuts place strut brace ends on the connect strut bar after, fairly simple job
One bit of advice be carful when removing/replacing seat the while you try to put seat thru seatbelt, you may not pay attenion to the seat brackets that will scratch you inner door sills
