I have a problem with my front fog lights and defi guages.
The gauges work perfectly but dont illuminate when the rest of the dash is lit.
Also the front fog lights dont operate. The illumination behind the switch doesnt come on,same as above when the rest of the dash is lit.
I have checked all the obvious fuses and they are fine.
Are the two things related.
Should the defi controller illuminate as well?
Help please.
Carl

They are driving lights as opposed to fog lights and only work when on full beam I believe?

The defi controller should illuminate when you put your lights on too

maybe its just a simple case of a non-connected wire? the gauges should be connected to something else that illuminates when you switch the lights on, like the dash lights. have you tried removing the defi pod to see if there are any loose or unconnected wires?
also, sorry to jump in, but i believe a little while back someone mentioned that by just swapping a few wires round on the fog/driving light switch, you could have them so they came on without using full beam.
I can't find that thread, and after fiddling round with a multimeter, I still couldnt work it out. so can anyone help?
cheers

if i remember correctly i swapped the 2nd black wire in on top with the 1st black wire on bottom and i can use driving lamps with headlamps on or full beam on but not with side lights, also if you push button in and flash your full beam you should see the little blue light illimunate on switch

Lights functioning as they should.it was just me thinking they were fog lights and not actually driving lights.Maybe should have read the manual!!!
Little blue light works aswell.
Still none the wiser with defis not illuminating.
