Sunday at BruntingthorpeWell, what a great day,top marks to all you drivers, you all did a great job,Kirstywr1 was incredible, Tony was a mad man, hope your clutch is ok now,all the new guys were great,we did fall a little short on cars near the end of the day but we broke our record on taking £1265,Asda were well pleased so a massive pat on the back to all of you,we dragged a Corsa VRX on to take the Air Cadets out and keep a bit of pressure off the Subarus and an EVO did make a brief appearance.
Hope you all got back safely, got to say I am really pleased with the day,it all seemed to go really well this year and with Roger and Martin helping on the gate and Mrs Megarman doing the accounts we had a slick operation going. Well done again and thanks. Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.
Great to meet up with all that turned up. Thanks Chris and all the team for the organisation running the gate. Sorry I had to go early, work commitments. Will be there next year for sure. Hopefully in a GT-R thou )
Cheers Simon Regards and be lucky ! Simon #226
Well done Chris and Rosy, great day as always. Good to have such a great turn out, and raise money for the Charity. Didnt get to say goodbye to a few people but good to catch up with a lot of people!
We are going to ask for 2 gates next year, maybe we can do a Subaru gate and a mixed gate, got to be worth a shot methinks.
Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.

it is better to have had a wr1 and lost it than never to have one at all.
Top day out everyone and glad to see we raised a good amount of money again this year. Car did well considering the pasting i was giving it - tyres slightly melted but still plenty of tred on them so still legal.
Nice to see everyone again and enjoyed one particular lap where a young lad was in the front saying "faster faster" and his mum was in the back saying "oh my god i hate this slow down"... Naturally i listened to the kid and went faster
Thank you chris for all the lovely comments . was a little nervous at first but after my first lap i soon got the hang of it and loved every minute especially taking everyone out in it and seeing there big smiles! it was a brilliant day and good meeting everyone cant wait till next year will deffinately be there
Heres a couple of photos which ben took
Yes would be great if he took some of my Blue Scoob in the chicane Tony Some one left a 3yr old child in the back of my car and he had two laps, thought I might have to adopt him LOL SUBARUS AR NOT FOR CHRISTMAS BUT FOR LIFE
Cracking day once again.
Big thanks to Chris and Rosy. Even though I couldn't drive this year it was great to support the event, add a few quid to the charity and generally catch up with a few people.... even the miserable Pooster was smiling.
Yer good to catch up with you too Stu. Glad to see you have finally "come out" of the closet with that manly pink t-shirt you had on
ASDA On your marks
A retired Policeman with a Triple Bypass  so went slower, NOT, I did get two wheels up though This guy Paid for 3 laps, he got more than he bargain for but told him it was another £20 to get out early Tony SUBARUS AR NOT FOR CHRISTMAS BUT FOR LIFE
