2004 Impreza STi WR1 - no.343 - DazLast edited by Daz on Mon Apr 13, 2009 5:15 pm, edited 2 times in total.
I didnt think I'd like carbon fibre mud flaps, but they look great. now I really dont know what to go for
www.wwjpc.co.uk Wales "n" West Japanese Performance Cars WR1 495
I've just put some more pics on, but due to being no expert they don't seem to have gone on right. You'll have to scroll to the right to find them!! They dust caps aren't Prodrive they're just stainless high pressure caps.
Just out of curiosity, if the mud flaps were real carbon fiber then they must be rigid?
So if they catch on something they are more than likely to snap, or pull themselves from the car causing a bit of damage? Or are these carbon effect..and still have a bit of flexibility about them?
they are still flexible its real carbon fibre weave between black polyurethene on one side and clear on the other
real weave maybe, but they haven't been in the oven as otherwise they would be rock hard!
More than likely just the cloth that has been stuck on, for visual apperance.
Looks much better de-tango'd, front and rear. The rear is the one thing I've left stock on mine, but I plan to change it before long.
Like the flaps, too, but not too keen on the carbon door pillars and I think it would look awesome with a splitter on 2004 RB Renault Clio 182 (Coilovers running Mark Fish setup)
cheers scutch would like to put a splitter on but there are just too many speed bumps around , scared of damaging something when it gets ripped off And get your back lights done they are the easy ones to do .
looks very smart, not to sure about the mud flaps tho....sorry! try for a carbon dash kit. That really sets it off.
Very smart.
Just to pick up on the point of de-tango's rear lights.... There are bulbs to avoid due to their weak light..........Silvatec and those to buy due to stronger light...........Phillips. Any comments guys ?
cheers , ive used the silvatec bulbs front and rear £11.75 delivered from scoobyparts with no problems
Those pink WR1 stickers look the nuts mate. I need them. I never thought the yellow/blue ones matched the rest of the car.
Where did you get them, how much were they?
cheers mate i thought the same , i got the sticker guy we use at work to make them for me , he did them foc aswell
Just a few updated photos.
Required a new set of tyres and decided to get another set of zero rosso. Had them previously with no problems. Whilst the tyres were off had the wheels refurbished and powder coated a few shades darker. Also had the rear windows tinted and fitted a HTautos rear defuser.
cheers lads, i will get some pics of the defuser for you maverick , would have put some on but the memory card was full on the camera
got the wheels done at the wheel specialist in garforth , new tyres fitted and balanced aswel very good job i know the darker wheels aren't to everyones taste but i had them silver before and a different colours only another set of tyres away.
Re: 2004 Impreza STi WR1 - no.343 - DazV nice - looks a beaut

Re: 2004 Impreza STi WR1 - no.343 - Dazvery nice, i like the golf club on the rear screen. is that your radio aerial sticking out of your spoiler.
Re: 2004 Impreza STi WR1 - no.343 - DazCheers , I think the golf club you can see is actually the shadow of a lamp post caused by the unusual presence of some sunshine
