wr1 pricehow much would you say a wr1 with 56k is worth.
totally standard apart from prodrive mudflaps, car is in overall good condition. 11 months mot and 5 months tax.
Subject to all the usual provisos (FSH, no accident damage, not recorded, nothing serious needs fixing etc) I reckon about £11.5-12k.

8 months m.o.t, 12 months tax 28k on clock full service history Mudflaps Front splitter (does have a crack, can be sorted) Foglight covers (may be best to remove and sell) Full RCM decat system with team ice backbox (still have old system also for those that dont like noise cos its loud lol) K&N panel filter Remap done by Andrew Carr 4 eagle F1's just put on also It does have outstanding finance but i have bought/sold cars in past this way and so long as done right its no problem for both parties. Wheels could do with a refurb few stone chips Apart from that its in great condition and will be sad if/when it goes. In 2 minds at the minute, need to free up some cash and sadly its top of the list so just after what kind of asking price. I know it may be best to sort little jobs and put back to standard, something i need to think about.Also realise better with no finance, i am in the process of sorting.
If you aren't currently serious about selling and can wait then put it on at "offers around £15.5k" and see what happens, people are entitled to their opinions but someone wants these cars and if they are serious they'll start bargaining!! You can always come down.... [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Why not try a bit higher and take an offer if you can afford to wait a bit... people usually come in lower and you'll be 'hinting' at £11.5k at that price! Unless it isn't in good condition?? What are you on? A 3 year old one with less than 30K doesn't fetch priced at 15K doesn't even sell anymore nowadays... I remember my STi, a September 2003 car, fetched 11k after 3 years and with 22000 miles on the clock. A WR1 might have a few goodies, but one should not overestimate things. Stay real !
Look at ecos they still go for silly money being over 15yr old Focus ST's rule!!!
To say you are a moderator for a wr1 site you do quite a bit of slating of wr1 residual prices its one of the best looking limited editions subaru have made !! so why shouldnt it fetch a good price? ive said before on other threads look at the prices of 22bs ,rs escorts, lancia inters,etc why shouldnt a wr1 which was launched to celebrate petters win not hold a good asking price? you should look to be a moderator on evos owners club instead !!!!

Do your numbers. There are less Cossie's worldwide than blob-eye Impreza's in the UK, for starters. So far for exclusivity. We're not even talking about the 22b's then. Integrale's are indeed fetching a high price. Again, how many good cars are left? In 15 years, a mint WR1 will probably fetch a good price, although I'd put money on the fact that people will want something that looks as close as possible to the actual WRC cars, by then, i.e. a mint WR Blue car with gold coloured wheels... Today, you can see a blob-eye on every corner of the street (unfortunately even far too often driven by a chav). Sticking to your logic, The Integrale won quite a few more championships than the Subaru. So did the Evo. Shouldn't that then indeed command premium prices? As for "Petter's win"... How much does the WR1 reflect that? It's not even called "Petter Solberg"-edition, similar as the RB was called after Richard Burns and it should have been WR Blue with gold wheels maybe to be appropriate... Except for Gee Wr1 and Caveman, there aren't even WR1 owners here who have a passion for rallying ! Worst of all, as you say yourself, it is one of the limited editions of the Impreza. We've seen the S203, S204, RB320, RA, RA.R, Spec C, Type-25, etcetc. It's a buyer's market. He who has the money in his pocket has the last say and he will probably look to a few alternatives and get the best his money can buy. And 14K for your 6 year old 56000 miles car... Good luck !
How do you know what the other 697 members are into? I didn't realise if I wanted a nice looking, fast, good alround performing limited edition car I needed to be a rally anorak, I better hand my keys back and get a fiesta.
Best hurry while the scrappage scheme is still on the go seeing as 1's are not worth feck all. The WR1 be safe in the knowledge that, short of strapping yourself to an Acme rocket, there's no quicker way to get from A to B.

Ive had a few escort cossie's the last one being a 93 k reg and i sold that for 16k with 80k miles

PricesI have to say I agree with a lot of the The Swede's comments. If you can get the prices quoted, then good luck and well done, but on any car's I've ever owned I've always taken a beating, even the one's that were supposed to hold their values! I'm still looking for a good WR1 myself and from my position I will be biased in wanting the lowest price, however I think people need to be realistic, including me when (if I ever get one) I come to sell. This all IMHO.

WR1 priceNot at all mate. You sell it for what you think you can get for it and if you get that, job done! As someone said before 'something's only worth what someone's prepared to pay for it', but as I said before people need to be realistic and IMHO £11K for a car with 90k, 'you're having a laugh'. If someone buys it it's their choice.
The wr1 is still one of the better variants of the special editions !! p1s spec c's etc hold good values even rb320s r still going 4 over £20k yes there are a lot of blobeyes about but its not a wr1 and after owning a type uk i know which one i prefer ,the wr1 to me feels like driving something a bit special as they r not ten a penny so to speak !! it was the same when i had a rs1600i many years ago it was like an xr3i but a lot more exclusive and worth a lot more!! i also get ten times as many comments about my wr1 than i did my type uk sorry about my boring rant but i think swede should get his head out of his a***!!
People need to bear in mind that as already said earlier on, cars are worth what someone will pay and how much they want it will determin the price, as they get more rare they may go up in price but they have only hit six years old, and when fuel is £10 a litre and tax hits £1000 for six months who knows what they will be worth most people dont buy as investment they buy to enjoy so enjoy, just my opinion.
