Brake service

Postby WR1 Bro » Thu Aug 13, 2009 9:29 pm

Thanks again to Adam for sorting my Mom's car out at short notice. I couldn't get to him before 5pm (I'm sure he would have been ready to go home) but he cracked on with changing the calipers over on her WRX and obviously had to bleed the brakes. I never knew there was a bleed nipple on the back of the brake caliper too. Anyway, job done. I respect how he will not be rushed and will not send you on your way till HE is 100% happy with his work.

Short test drive and car was back on the ramp for a final inspection.

As always, thanks Adam.

See you next week for a load of bushes to be replaced on Kylie.

Watch this space for some special service prices for the WR1oc.

You could always make it a day out. There is loads to do locally. At the very least, bring a partner and take in the sights of Buxton and grab some lunch. If you have kids there are parks and tourist things going on. I know I bang on about Autotecnic but everyone that has every been to Autecnica on my advice has always gone away with a smile.

I bring my mom's car up from the Midlands even just for the simplest of things as I know even just for a brake pad change Adam will cast his eye over the whole car. He also has a very good relationship with Grade A (a Subaru breaker) so can get used parts at a great price.

My Mom's car needed a new fan, Subaru wanted silly money to replace it. Used part, job done. 20k miles later and it still blows like new.

I also recall the amount of times prior to knowing Adam that my Mom used to get a petrol smell in her car. Subaru had her car in at least 5 times without a disgnosis. Once in with Adam the problem was solved.

Totally agree with Bro's post....

Adam is 1st class. Defo make a day of it, we walked into Buxton, it's a nice walk in there and loads of shops/cafes etc or just sit and watch the world go by!!

Loads of walks around there too if you are waiting for a few hours... or you could just sit in Adams office and pull mooneys whilst periodically telling him to hurry up

Defo worth a vist though.
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]

Totally agree with all the above posts, the level of service Adam gives is second to none and I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else.
