Hi all,
very new to this site,seems a lot of great people here,hope to talk to you all soon.
Anyway im looking for a wr1 ,standard if poss with fairly low miles.
Just sold my 2004 m3 cab and want a wr1.
got cash waiting for the right car.

the m3 was quick but only in a straight line,didnt feel like 343bhp.
want one this weekend as im using the wifes fiesta and shes going mad staying at home.anyway the hunt is on its friday night, ive just finished work so on the net looking.ill keep you all posted.cheers lads.mark

I changed from a Cayman, wasnt quick enough either, looked at m3 as i think they rock but too boring and bulky compared to the WR1.

ive never liked bmws but i did like the m3,but after about one week it felt realy slow.ive driven a wr1 and it would cane a m3 anyday so easy.
this money is burning a hole in my pocket so bad,i need a wr1 this weekend.
they are all just hundreds of miles from me so hopefully someone will contact me from the north soon.fingers crossed.cheers mark

PMSL... totally agree with you, I had mine for 6 months and it just didn't feel quick.... handling was pretty awful in the damp or wet...obviously better build quality than the WR1 but I'd take performance over quality when it comes to cars.
What price range are you looking to buy in?

i like m3s scuthes new one looks mint
as an everyday car i think the m3 would win but as a toy wr1 all the way

All sorted lads,
bought one today from well lane turbo centre in batley.
28k miles and mint condition just going to take out the £2000 stereo and put in the standard one which i got with the car.

What build number is it Mark ? You can look for any history on our register.
How much did you pay bearing in mind you bought from a dealer.
Has it had the rear shocks replaced yet ?

its build number 344.
paid £14k which isnt that bad from a dealer with only 28k miles.
dont know if the rear shocks have been done.cheers marl
