Admiral. I changed my vehicle part way through my policy as you do, my last car Astra 888 was only £600, only paid extra £400 to change to the Scooby 5 months into my policy. Didn't expect at renewal for it to be this great, was expecting more like 1.5k
No I haven't, do you have a contact details?

Have you tried the usual moneysupermarket website(s) to see a range of quotes? I found that they varied massively!!

Not moneysupermarket, but tried confused, vast majority refused due to car and area I believe.

Cheapest on moneysupermarket is KwikFit at £2011, starting to get closer to my target. Noticed for the vast majority it says:
"This provider will not quote for cars with modifications."
All I selected was "upgraded brakes", also what do you lot select for car security? I select alarm and immobiliser, don't select tracker as my not enabled due to people on this site saying RAC Trackstar is crap!

Like the man says--RING KIETH MICHAELS--google him now-- Ask for Gary Moulson--he's your man. Fully understands mods. He owns a scooby himself and is a member of car forums. WHEN he's quoted--THEN ask for WR1oc discount !
As for your tracker--I think EVERYWHERE will require you to send a copy of the tracker cert. Whether its actually rubbish or not is besides the point.

agreed with above...I had to enable the tracker to get the policy in the first place.
Whether I actually need it or not didn't matter.

The alarm should be "Thatcham Cat 1 Appoved"... I got a cerificate with mine but I think that is the standard WR1 alarm.

They "were" cheaper for me too.
Beware though, when it comes to making a claim they are worse than useless
