How do these compare to the WR1's chaps ?
These are from a STANDARD M5 tests carried out at Brunters.
Reading the American forums, there are some better times posted but these seem very fair.

I personally like to see 30-70, 50-90 etc... rolling figures can throw some interesting fingures into the mix.

Nice one dent-boy
The WR1 be safe in the knowledge that, short of strapping yourself to an Acme rocket, there's no quicker way to get from A to B.

Very impressive figures although they must have been taken on a dry day and thus little wheel spin

it supposed to do 60-100 in 5.1 seconds, does seem a slow time for a 500bhp car

That could be explained by its lack of torque Rob ?
All the power in the V10 is over 6000rpm upto 9000rpm.

Mike Woods from Prodrive was the driver who set the figures. & it has been done by an owner too.

it was the Prodrive guy that did the official time that went on the brochures...he obviously wasn't bothered about dropping the clutch and breaking transmission.
Seems feasible to me though....
Tested my launch thing a few weekends ago, 5.5k build 1.4 bar then side step the clutch. Was pretty grippy tarmac too, so only just got 4 wheels to slip..made for a quick sprint for sure (DCCD on Lock). Don't wanna do that too often just incase.

Obviously a typo.... FPMSL, you could do 0-60 in 6th in less than 5.3 in the WR1... The standard WR1 is basically a "factory standard tuned" STi PPP, with better diff controls
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
