Had my rear disks and pads changed on Friday along with removing my HKS SQBOV for the original Subaru re-circ valve.
Must be said that the gear change from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd is so much smoother.
DanR55 - you were absolutely spot on here mate!

I'd have put it more like: "De-Chavved" but I'm just being picky

Having the "splash" sound everytime you change gear... I personally think it sounds a bit chavvy... personal preference

I'd perfer to call it clensing the car ....
I must admit though John Mc Tiddler (Dogging Expert) is correct....
It is Chavvy yes , annoying yes , but most of all it was not doing me any good at all. With a completly standard set up all the BOV does is sound Chavvy and I have also found it sooo much smoother without it!
Lets be honest there is no performance gain on just a DV/BOV on the standard car. It's just for show but again I guess it is personal preferance.

I've now got Tarox G88 disks all round with 401 rally + pads.
Apart from them being a little noisey on light breaking they seem to be very good. I've not encounted any break fade and the car breaks well when cold.
I don't run the car on the track so they have not really been tested to their limit.
