What are the differences between the Peter Solberg edition and our WR1?
Is it that prodrive never got their hands on it?
Only thing my uneducated eye can see is the alloys and spot lamps?

In general (although 1mposter will be able to give you a correct list as he transformed a 'Petter Solberg' into his WR 1(mposter) ):
1. no 18" PFf alloys. The Solberg came with standard 17" alloys in grey
2. no Prodrive spring kit
3. no driving lights (and if they had 'lights', then they were front foglights)
4. no Prodrive Performance Pack (+10bhp for a healthy 1)
5. no 'marketing material' such as the keyring and the rest. You did get a Petter Solberg plaque though, I think.

Yes !
but mine aint from france it's from Japan
Basically WR1's were originally Petter Solberg edtions, Prodrive got 500 of them. Charged you £9k for the privilage of upgrading to 316bhp, changing the wheels, locking wheel nut, driving lights, mesh grills, tracker alarm, floormats, all of which can be brought forless than £5k... plus the keyring, plaque tax disc........ lets not forget the Lidl cornflake wr1 stickers
All of which I have

Ah I see, didn't Subaru sell the WR1s in their showrooms not Prodrive?

Ah! International Motors, brings back memories from my days when I worked in a Subaru parts dept. Think in my day they imported Izuzu and Maserati as well?
