Evo XStarting to come into their own now? With a nice bit of subtle styling they look mint
2004 RB Renault Clio 182 (Coilovers running Mark Fish setup)
The 4th pic of the front looks so "phat" .....Still unsure about the rear....then again my Evo 6's backside did not look to attractive either!
Saw an Evo X just over a week ago on a track day beside a IV. Different shades of red they were both, but both looked very good.
I drove an SST 300 and its a complete load of rubbish - weight has killed the evo. TBH in a straight line dragg it'd do well to see of my little megane
The 360 might be a touch quicker but the smurf left one for dead in his new sti (running circa 375bhp) and we were 2 up!! The RS's are supossedly quite good as a focused machine but the X just aint cutting it as a good muti use vehicle, like the IX was. I believe a X MR is in the pipeline already - maybe that will be a return to form, lets hope so.
what's the smurf been doing to his STi?
Not using his calculator correctly to do his homework with Crash bang wollop!!
Its been to Prodrive for an exhaust, bigger turbo and remap. Think it made 372bhp but over 400lbft so goes very nicely indeed.
Think it's back there today for its APs. Was hoping to give him a fright at donnongton but tbh having been in the car now its in a different league to my little megane - I am actually quite jealous!!
Interesting, didnt realise Prodrive would retro fit upgrades like that, look forward to finding out more on Friday. Let's hope those pistons hold together!
Yeah, i'm looking forward to a few hot laps in it myself
I believe its actually Extreme Scoobies??!!(is that a tuner) that are doing the brakes.
EVO X above, back on topic guys, pmsl....
Pics look really cool, especially the blue one. However, in person the car looks poo imho... I'll go as far to say that "out of the box" I prefer the look of the new Impreza when you see both cars on the road.
They do actually look ok in the flesh, there is a white one locally, It would have to be fast out of the box for me though, my days of tampering with induction kits and big bore lums are over
