I put text in the signature box but it does not appear under any of my posts

The signature now appears in any new posts i make, strange

Also, is my real name suppoed to be able to be viewed from the profile button when clicked on by another user??

No your real name is not visible to other users unless you specifically put it into your profile.

Not sure how the technology behind this site operates but posts prior to putting a signature in don't seem to be updated. So there is nothing wrong with your account, it is a general issue.

Not sure if Brian can shed any light on this.
