Saw you today on the opposite side of the roundabout by palmers fish and chips. I'd just dropped the mrs off to earls sandwich shop and was going round again to pick her up and saw the car parked by Vincent's but you'd gone. Is it smashers old car? Looked like it, I thought I was the only 1 left round the yeovil area but obviously got some competition again! Lol

Only once, he popped round to mine once to pick up some centre caps and we compared cars. Seeing his started me thinking about getting some anthracite wheels as it really set his car off. Where abouts in Devon are you?

Hello chaps.

Just reading the comments and having a look around i stubbled on this, so thought i would add,

For those interested they were painted by a chap i know locally, and its the same colour they paint the Ariel Atom wheels. there was one in the spray shop when mine was in.

There is a lookalike, i used to drive past it in Lopen, could have been that one?

Forgot to add Mossy, You passed me recently, i was in the Crossfire in Yeovil, you were heading upto the football ground from Halfords, and i was coming out from halfords, i did give you a quick toot, but understand that you wouldn't reply to anyone stupid enough to sell a WR1 for a crossfire!!!

Hi Mossy, Yeah the wheels I think improved the look although I understand it's not to everyones taste. Still thinking about it? I live in Plymouth so it's quite far down.

Hi Smasher, you got a name of the garage where the local guy works?

Cheers!

How much was it to have them sprayed? I've had my spare set refurbed in a sparkly silver but it wasn't an amazing job as it was a mate of a mate who did them and one wheel has flaked on the rim slightly.

I dont think it was that expensive, and there wasn't much kerbing to repair, i think it was about £40 a corner,
