Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2012 3:37 pmThe problem with the WR1 is its an STI, with PPP pack, with even more tweaks. So you are pushing the limits of what has already been upgraded.
To keep the standard turbo and reliability you would need a full 3" exhaust system with decat (with or without centre silencer). Induction kit isnt needed as the standard airbox does a much better job than cone filters at this power level. You would then look at possibly GT Spec 2 Headers. This would make it breath as well as its going to on standard turbo and give it more torque / power. However you wont get massive power gains from it and should be prepared to remap if you change exhaust systems.

If its more power you want I suggest saving up and doing it all at once i.e. 3" exhaust, headers and remap otherwise you have two remaps to contend with.
