You guys should be taking a trip over to Adam at Autotecnica (Buxton). Far cheaper and a much better service without any shadow of a doubt. Plus, you get to enjoy the Cat'n'Fiddle

I hear what you are saying and the cat and fiddle is legendry, in fact i think it has just come up on a recent survey as being one of the most dangerous roads in the uk. But to be honest every time i have took my scoob into prosport [ and i have had a few ] i have allways been impressed by pete and the gangs no nonsense attitude and everything they have ever done for me has been spot on so tbh i would be loathed to go somewhere else even though Adam seems to have a excellent reputation from what i read in varios postings.
Moral of the story is if you find somebody good stick with them, you may agree you may not just my two pennys worth :D

Because they scratched my car ! I didn't say anything at the time as I managed to polish most of it out and despite this happening I still think Pete is a thoroughly decent bloke and an excellent mechanic who helped me out on numerous occassions.
I would definately still recommend them to people who needed to keep the Subaru warranty or wanted to maintain a Subaru service history.

They are a decent garage, but I get the feeling the way they come across and dealing with customers could be better. For example, I've had warranty work done by them and it took them 3 weeks to just put the claim in! And in the mean time they kept telling me they were waiting on Subaru to approve. Secondly, had my geometry done by them and then had new brakes discs and pad few weeks later and my geometry was all out again. I told them but they didn't sort it and say brakes wouldn't cause this. I now have to pay again for the geometry, you'd think they would believe the customer and do out of good will to keep good customer relations but no :(
