is shell helix ultra(grey bottle)10 - 40 ok?or any1 suggest another good shell oil i can get off the shelf at a petrol stn for a top up,

you just need to make sure that it's fully synthetic matey. Halfords do a race formula Mobil 1 which is 5by50 I believe. I used that to top up once before.

I only use 10w x 60w now ... you can buy this from Demon Tweeks.

I use Castrol Formula RS 10w 60 fully synthetic

that's the one ... forgot the name.

Only one you should be using in my opinion.
