Gauges

hi guys,
Just out of curiosity what size do you think look better in the triple dash mounted pod? :? I can't decide whether to go for 52mm or 60mm and also whether to go straight for Defi or try something else Any ideas or suggestions?

It's only my opinion, but I find the large pods some people have a bit OTT inside. It's as if someone has put a second scoop, but them to the inside, in the car.

I am defo no fan of the ones on the A-pillar though. I cannot understand how these can really be readable while driving.

I'd go for a small triplemeter with 3 good Defi gauges.

60mm look perfect in my humble opinion. On the dash or A-pillar is ideal for viewing when driving.

The 52mm look best in the classic.... again, in my humble opinion.

Sandy is talking poo... what would he know? Ask him for a pic of the gauges in the Evo.... PMSL... Ideal location for a backseat driver sitting in the middle seat :roll: :wank: Foreign gimp boy.

A-Pillar gauges are too close. You need to turn away too much to see them.

It does work of course when you are sitting 7' away from the wheel like Johnny-The-Essex-Cruiser and when you drive like a wimp so you got plenty of time to admire your gauges rather than to watch the road...

Yes mate... I agree... I don't begin to suggest I am a "keen" driver. I enjoy driving, but I've never said I've "good" at it.

OK, let's summarise for pikey:

Pikey,

If you sit behind the wheel like the tw@t above, do not go for pillar-mounted gauges.

If on top, just like him and as a result of too many women and sex you do not see very well, go for the large sized gauges like the other dirty old man did above, with a beep signal.

If you're more the :wank: type of guy like Stuart, who, as a result doesn't hear well but sees well, you can go for a set of 52mm gauges without 'beep'.

Pikey, most newage owners have the 60mm defi's, they mainly go for the 3 in the pod, turbo boost, oil presssure and oil temperature, there are some extremely more modded who have the a-pillar with water temp and egt gauges.

So if you waqnt a nice set of defi gauges go for the 3 in the pod, there are clear come with warning buzzer and are easier to see.

Ignore the sweede is 52 mm gauges in his evo are so far out of sight you need his glasses to see them !
