'To flap or not to flap??'
I must admit i don't really like the thought of fitting mudflaps to my new toy. I tend to think they spoil the 'lines' of the car. So I was wondering what the view of 'the masses' was. If they're not fitted will I end up with pitted lower paintwork down the sides?
If that is the case I'll get some - but I've heard you can get 'shorty' or 'mini' sets perhaps, rather than the 'full-on' rally style. And therefore not so obvious.
Has anyone fitted these and do they provide enough protection?

Fitted them, and so did pooster.
It's easy but you need to remove the wheels, makes it much easier.
Also, you got the choice how to fit them.
Some hang the 'low' by using the upper holes to fit them. They claim it looks better. The issue in my view is that you easily get them caught at curves and they stick out less of the body (sidewards).
Mine were hung 'high'. This made them shorter and made them stick out sideways more. The advantage was that they would protect the sides of the car better against stones etc. Which was my objective.
