Anyone got pics of WR1's with dark tinted windows ?
:?:

Just wonder if it would suit the car, seen a black STI with it done and it looks good, not sure if it would suit the lighter colour.

There are a few of us with tints.

ScoobyDan
Me
Chris B

to mention just a few that come to mind.

Personally I think they look awesome. I will try and get some photos but daylight is required so the earliest I can manage is the weekend...

That would be good if you can.

Have you tinted all windows or just rear of car ?

Was looking at getting fairly dark for rear but a lighter one for front windows so I don't get nicked.

:?

I've just done the rear of the car.

ScoobyDan has done all round. Maybe he would put you some pics up?

I'm reliably informed that it's just something else you are expected to declare to your insurance company...DON'T quizz me why-- albeit that they are getting really tough on declaration of ALL mods. Tints won't cost you any excess but they get arsey about not being told and then finding out through a photo arriving on the Ins.engineers' screen (to be approved for the repairer to go ahead after an accident of some sort)

..............I was chatting to a Prodrive nut the other day-- he was trying to pursuade me to go on the "Driving4Charity" day at Prodrive test track in Kenilworth.

Being an Insurance Engineer he told me about the "Need to declare".
You have been warned.

As for the Track day-- look up www.driving4charity.co.uk

It's on 13th Oct at Kenilworth and even Non Scooby owning peeps can grab a chance to drive in test conditions as the deal includes using THEIR cars. Cost is £200 but it's all going to charity which is the Brain Tumour Trust (various things are happening that week as its Brain Tumour Week)

I thought limo tint was a crude term for not being able to see in? Yours looks the same as mine which I think was 80% tint (basically lets 20% of light in).

Either way matey, I think it looks cool.

Looks 8) Dan but a magnet for a bored copper who has some light testing gear in his car.

Oh..And from what Ive learned on here, maybe mine is 80% then, not Limo !
Cheers guys. (Bob had it done....told me it was "light"--Yeh, Rite ! )

So that explains the weird quotes we get from insurances ! They got engineers doing the economics !

That being said, I'm considering whether I should get tints for the Merc.

Would they be too pimp ?

"TOO PIMP" isn't possible with a skinny runt like yourself struggling to extent his under muscled crumpled legs and desperately searching for oxygen at altitude.
