Had a little run in one of Tiley

Agree with Anders on the headers / up pipes. At standard turbo levels of power they will give you a relatively small amount of power but noticeably add a bit of lag. Only consider changing really when the o.e headers are becoming restrictive and that is over the 350 BHP mark. A good all round set up with a smallish turbo that does not overwhelm the o.e headers in terms of flow is to get them ported. You can only gain really.

The material will not affect flow in any way Dan, thats a function of the geometry, bends, bore etc.
The material is chosen for corrosion resistance, weldability, heating up and rapidly coling down properties, resistance to fatigue etc..etc.
