STi 9 import Dash

Postby Chris B » Thu Nov 18, 2004 10:04 pm

When I was at Roger Clarks the other day Matt was working on an STi 9 import. This is the one with the twin-scroll turbo. The dash on this car has the same feature as the defi gauges in that when you switch on the ignition, the needles on the clocks bounce round the clock and then back to the start position. The dash is completly black until you switch on the ignition. It looks great, why didn't they fit this on the WR1? I might check and see if it will fit.

It's fitted to the 05 UK STI, there's no reason for it not fitting.

They have them on the Legacy 3.0R spec B, but the legacy spec B also has a screen in the centre of the dash with shows animated dials for you as well.

Is it not fitted to UK STI's for 2005 then?
According to my dealer, before I bought my car, the 05 was going to have it. I've looked on subaru's site but can't see anything.

That's because it's an import. :)
