Great figures Chris !!

How has it changed the performance of the car ? and don't just say it goes faster

What I mean is ...
does it pull from lower revs ?
is it still as smooth all the way to the redline ?
any noticable decrease in fuel economy ?

any chance of you being able to post the graphs up ? eg. scanning them in ...

I'm also amazed theres been no comment from Gangsta about this ...

Sounds awesome!! Absolutely awesome.

As most of you know my car is modded also ... with a full group N decat and a remap ... so am pushing out around the 340bhp mark. Have looked into getting an induction kit but not really followed it up much.

Definately will look into the Roger Clark kit now!

Very glad that you are happy with the result.

The car pulls a lot better in all gears right up to the rev limiter and feels exceptionally strong. Not noticed any particular decrease in fuel figures but I dare say there has been a drop, though I've been too busy enjoying the extra power to notice it. I will post the graph as soon as possible (when Rosy has figured out how to do it!).

Regarding induction kits, remapping etc - Roger Clark Motorsport do two in-house induction kits, I had the larger one which does require a remap.

Matt arranged for Bob Rawle to come to Leicester and he put a basic map on and we drove over to Bruntingthorpe, where he did the full Monty and then we played around with it for a couple of hours till it was the best we could get it.

Heres the Graph....

Constant Lines are the New Figures

Dashes are the WR1 RR Event last month.

Just look at the Torque Curve

Have I read this right, 100 bhp losses at the wheels??
The figures are VERY impressive though!
Or should that be Imprezzive!!

A the Wheels is where is happening folks.

Just look at the end.. as Chris says it Pulls strong right up to the redline.

Bob Rawl and Roger Clarke Motorsport really have done some work with this map.

But he's lost 30%!
Usual losses are 16% to 20%.
Is that down to the DCCD?

Jacee, you cant put a % difference on the difference between flywheel and the At Wheels as theres so many factors to take into considoration on the day.
A 100 BHP loss through transmission and a 4wd system is very common.

The answer to your next question will be..
Not Advisable mate. can you image all that power just through the rear wheels ;)

Regarding powerloss between the flywheel and wheels, Matt assures me that the loss is quite normal as Brian has stated. The bigger the gain in BHP the greater the % loss at the wheels. As an example, the STi that was featured in Japanese Performance Car mag last month, that Roger Clark modified, had an even greater % loss at the wheels than mine.

We used 800 cc injectors as the 650 cc were maxing out.
