For those interested in fitting mudflaps, bit of feedback:
1. There was discussion whether to hang them in high or low position (would that fit with lowered suspension).
I looked at both settings and I would recommend the high position, definitely at the front. In high position, the flap sticks a bit further out at the side the car. This should provide better protection against spray on the doors and keep your car clean longer while protection for flying debris underneath remains good.
2. It's not difficult to fit them yourself. Start by doing the back ones first to 'practice'. For the front, take the wheels off as you cannot drill the whole for the 4-th screw otherwise.
3. For the front ones, (nearly) take the sill off (there are clips underneath the sills). Take all of the clips off bar the last one near the rear wheel (that might be a bit fiddly one). That allows the sill to hang loose to clean underneath. It's amazing how much mud goes inthere !
4. To get good access to the front holes for the screws, take also the one OE clip inside the wheelarch out. It allows the trim to peel back much more easily.
Hope this helps !
Have fun !
