i assume you could just buy the backbox as its a direct replacement ,i assume if your keeping the cats the extg will be same as blitz and noise should be the same 8)

I'm sure Millie said it was bigger? What is the size of the tailpipe?

as its a direct replacement it can only be the same as the prodrive as its one size straight through, the backbox which makes the noise will be 4" i assume

I bought a Nur-Spec R for my car and was advised that the back pressure it will create will actually decrease the power. Worth checking out before fitting.

Basically the blitz is the fattest sounding most agressive system you can buy ... with a full decat the flames and bangs would be amazing. But would you sacrifice power for them though? Tough choice!

Although I am not 100% that you would lose any power. This was what I was advised when I went to get my Nur Spec R fitted ... and based on that I decided not to and sent it back.

Rhybeck has a nur spec r full decat on his type R and it downs out everything and is the most awesome sounding exhaust i've ever heard. Makes the car sound like a TVR

Who is the Oracle on such questions? It seems everyone has a different opinion on different exhausts. Blitz advertise them as reducing the back pressure?

Hi Chaps, I think by know you will know I am not that techincal, however when I spoke with Revolution Performance Motorsport I was told that it would increase bhp but at the levels we are at, it would be marginal. The centre centre section compared to the standard taken off, was , in my opinion bigger , the bore of the tube and the ends !! The back box has a 4.5" exit.

I started to get more pops and bangs when I fiited the dump value but it does seem that after the Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust ( full cat-back) has been fitted things have got even bigger and better 8) I enjoyed the afterburner vortex and could not complain about the back box I had, but this is my first time with the blitz and I am loving it :D

I paid

We want the nice sound of the Blitz under hard acceleration. What we do not want to do is lose power in the process.

Bro, I have to say that in IMHO my car has the sounds and I can't say that I have noticed any difference in performance either way, she still does it for me :D

Thats all I needed to hear Millie. I just need my local gargae to open again!!

The only other point.... is there any need to have the mid section (ref Spike saying it is the same as the prodrive mid section)?

As far as I know you canb just have the back section, its the R spec that is the centre pipe.
