Which BOV for MY1

Postby heffs976 » Wed Jun 26, 2013 1:23 am

Hey guys I am aware that this may have been mentioned many times before but I have searched for ages trying to find out which Dump Valve I want to put on to MY1
It is totally standard at the moment and the only thing I want to put on it is a dump valve, I know some people hate them some love them so I don't need your opinions on if you like them or not haha but what would be useful is which one??

So far I have looked at both Turbosmart Supersonic or the Vee Port one, the HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve Mk IV and the Blitz VTA Venturi DriveDump Valve

As my car is standard which one would be the best? Can I just bolt one on without any remapping? Also What are peoples thoughts on which sounds the best?

any help here would be grateful

hi fella i have a bailey fitted at the min...sounds great but i hear the springs can be quite week, i think if you stick with a well known make u shouldnt have any problem's. you will already have a standard valve fitted so simply swap for one u fancy and away you go...no mapping required :)

I have the GFB Respons Blow off valve, I like it Because you can make the blow off hiss quiet or loud and if you grow tired of it you can set it to recirculate, Not done many miles with it but it seems easier to drive since i installed it, Maybe just imagining it though !

It was also about the sort of money I wanted to be spending on one
Nobody told me it was this brutal !
