Advice Please

Been thinking of getting this on to my 1. Will need some other mods too I know, any thoughts from you guys? here is the spec and pics. It is a brand new unit BTW.

IHI VF34(460cfm at 18psi, 250-325whp, Bolt-On)This is the standard equipment turbocharger used on the JDM V7 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec-C. The VF34 is nearly identical to the VF30 but has improved spool up due to its roller bearing design. It also utilizes a P18 exhaust housing.Expect to achieve full boost with the proper mods and a quality tune between 3000-3500rpms. 2002-2005 WRX owners will need fuel upgrades for this turbocharger and proper engine management is highly recommended for all vehicles

Youd have to get a tuner or mapper to advise you further on this mate. The WR1 has a VF35 as standard I think.

Much better turbos out there IMO .. All depends on budget etc .. and set your your goal ... and stick to it

Your standard engine will take up too 400 bhp with good mods

Ran my standard engine for 3 years on 400+ then sold it Running ..

360 400 500 600 700 bhp .. It can be done with the RIGHT Parts And PPl Around you !!

the New billet range are awesome from scooby clinic ..

ultimately depends what your trying to achieve..........

vf34 is a far stronger turbo than your std vf35 and will make better power also BUT ultimately its never going to achieve much above 350ish so if your aiming higher this isn't the one

I was thinking about upping to 350 bhp from a standard set up but then I gave myself a good shoeing ........do I really need it?, If I do will I then need more? Think I will spend my hard earned on handling and driver skill. Pity as the guy wanted £700 sheets for it, maybe in the near future :D

Thanks for the advice guys
