Bonnet Dampers fitted!

They work a treat! Was going to fit just one with the aluminium bonnet, but they seem to be calibrated right anyway. Maybe this is just me being thick. After two or three shuts they work together and lift it square.

Peice of cake mate, took all of 15 minutes! 12mm socket for the bonnet, and a deep 10mm one for the nuts/ball joints on top of the wings. Line everything up, tighten the 12mm bolts back up with the shakeproof washers underneath, screw the ball joints into the thread in the wing (after you've taken the bolt out of course!) , insert the wire clips to stop the damper popping off the ball joints, job done!

fitted mine today and really pleased.
15 mins to fit??? :shock:
took me an hour! :lol:
those securing clips for the ball joints were a nightmare.

Yes them small clips are the bug bare and nightmare, had to modify the angle so though would pass through the last small hole.

Im going to source a different upper clamp so both bolts are used to secure upper ball joint, would be less flex and would fit better than the adjustable clamp supplied with the dampers.
