They look the Dogs mate! :D I've been looking to put some on mine for a while but have only seen the Tein ones at stupid money.
If you can clarify a couple of points:
Is that carbon fibre effect?
If so did pay extra?
What sort of job to fit? (please explain like you're talking to a monkey - seriously!! )
Thanks!

Looking at parts i think the top bonnet bolt is removed / loosened to place upper bracket / ball joint, then secure. The lower section ,remove one of the wing bolts then replace with the lower damper ball joint. Connect damper to upper and lower joints, job done :?:

I know the guy who owns this company so maybe get some discount on group buys for dampers and any other products available

Exactly that Gary. Piece of piss to fit, paid £70 plus postage for these carbon ones, can't have anything heavy on the 'C'.

Probably could have got away with just fitting the one but is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye with both fitted.

Spoke to the guy earlier on in the week mate as looking to get some of these myself. He advised that:
STI (which includes WR1) need GDB
WRX need the GDA type.
From what he was was saying I don't think there's any difference in spec, it's just the serial numbers for ordering purposes. Also, since the original thread was posted they've increased the price slightly to £45.99 inc VAT. With postage @ £6.50 it brings a set to £52.49. I still think that's good value for money unless anyone knows different?
Hope this helps.

Dayo I'm just getting numbers first who are interested in a group buy, try and get some discount. Or you have the option to buy direct? The choice is yours.

The dampers come in pairs, I'm not sure of the resistance value, but I would assume not as strong as boot dampers. Possible just to use one instead of two again less resistance on such a light weight bonnet. Just a thought.

Ive had a set for a few years. No problems whatsoever.

Just remember that the cheapest part of these are the tiny spring clips that hold them in place. They easily rust so rub a little thick grease on them to keep them fresh. You can always rub it off for showtime !
