Well worth forty notes IMO, Dont know what the rear one is like to fit.....quick look tonight tells me I may have dropped a small bollock

all in all very sound advice stevek cheers

IIRC you have to remove rear seats x4 10mm bolts, then take off rear strut nuts place strut brace ends on the connect strut bar after, fairly simple job

One bit of advice be carful when removing/replacing seat the while you try to put seat thru seatbelt, you may not pay attenion to the seat brackets that will scratch you inner door sills

Second bit of advice, dose lose your keys you PRICK!!!!

fcukoff

I can, i can hop in the car and just turn the KEYS and just "fcuk off".

So "on yer bike" pasty ya prick! :toofunny:

sounds like a cunning plan, thx for the info imposter i'm gonna have a stab at fitting the cheeky little pink ended bar, did you notice any difference when you fitted your rear brace (apart from scratching up your sill  )

My keys are the only set I have and are gaurded very closely at all times, I cant deal with all of the shit that accompanies losing the fuckers !

cheers again fellas

went out and whacked the rear brace on in the dark last night, had the interior light and a torch !!!!

was a piece of piss tbh, took the rear seats out, loosened off the rear belts, removed the nuts on the strut tops and fought like F*ck to get the brace ends over the studs, fitted the bar and rear seats and job was a good un :)

Only thing i would say is dont do it in the f*cking dark hehe

makes a real difference too, love it, may get a roof spoiler next ? Do any of you know if they are a permanent fitment once on or can they be removed ?

off out now to try and snap my tyres off

So nice I have front and back in the post.....!

That engine is clean btw, have u had it steamed ??

Nah, just took the IC off, polished it, polished the dump valve, degreased and scrubbed everything else and lightly polished all the alloy bits with some Solvol and wire wool.

Glad you have discovered the benefits of the strut brace, and it wasn't my imagination...

Has the back one made a difference?

aww dude you mean i need to polish more bits !!!!

my neighbours already think I have a problem with all the washing it gets :?

The rear brace did make a difference, not as much as the front but definately stiffened the car more and when i accelerated hard before say on a slip road/exiting a roundabout etc the rear of the car seemed to wallow around a bit at times, but now its really planted, well worth another 40 notes m8.

I might invest in the rear one too then! There's always something else to polish
