BC Coil Overs

Postby madogp » Sat Dec 11, 2010 5:45 pm

finally got round to having a set of BC coil overs fitted and what a difference the amount of feel and grip is amazing, however it is a bit harsh at slow speed bimbeling around, hayho just have to do more track days bummer :woohoo:

i had them fitted at Sumo Power for £660 parts fitting and set up, what a bargain. and i must say very impressed with the set up and service.

next on the list is pro bushes all round

Bloody hell mate, that is cheap! It's normally that price on their own without the fitting etc.

Too right as soon as they said fitting and set up was free it was a no brainer. It's an introductory offer when you buy bc's or tehin, hence the reason for letting as may know as possible. I am taking my mates type uk and p1 next month

nice work....and a great price.

I went for the ER series with the adjustble top mounts all round. A little noisy because of the lack of flex, but they do give a fantastic ride quality.

Took a little while firslty to get used to them, and then to dial them in properly too. Now had to soften them up again during the winter, but still loads better than standard.

I also fitted them at home, as its pretty easy to do. BUT the front bolts were on way too tight I had breakout the larger windy gun!

If you throw in free alignment after fitting, then the SumoPower deal is defo the way to go!!

Well had the BC Coilovers fitted today and WOW they really do make a massive differance.....Differrent car. The drive home was very enjoyable through the country lanes with an Aston Martin DB9 trying to stay with me.....(until the straights, then he caught up a little ! Ha!). Multi million pound set up down at Sumopower and very knowledgable, professional and polite. Got a wish list and will be going back very soon. Us southeners have got a GEM on the south coast in Sumo.Get down there! :D :D
