Spray some white lithium grease on the shocks. This free's them up for 6 months or so, before they start to knock again. Should give you time to save up for some shiney coilovers

1. Buy an Evo 9
2. Take a crash course of written English

got a set of the BC ER series, and really impressed with them so far, had them all changed over in a day and took a few days to settle down before finally setting them up and getting the geom re-done.
Now the snow is here, I have jacked it up slightly and softened them up a tad also.
Just over 1k, but definately worth it so far.
Only downside is that with the adjustable top mounts there is a definate increase in NVH due to the spherical bearings and the plate shape.
see the garage thread for a bit more detail on this.
