Really fancy a nur spec for my 1 , dont really care for the perfomance but
fancy a bit of a pop and bang . would a spec s give me much sound or am
i best to go the whole hog and get the R ?
Also alittle unsure after reading to much if it would need mapping
cant see why it would but guess this is the best way to know for

Cheers guys n girls

wont need mapping, but if you want to maximise the popping and banging you really do need a remap so they can be programmed in

between the R and S

R is louder. I have the S mated to a H&S straight through centre pipe. I love the sound, just right IMO
If you can pick up a 2nd hand R, plus a remap from Dynamix on here, you'd be looking at about £650

Had just the Nur spec back box on my old bugeye & its more than loud enough
Sounds amazing but if you have wee kids in the back it might be a bit loud for their wee ears, just something to think about.
It is the best sounding system for the scoobies burble imo

You'll love it
Your neighbours won't though
Think you'll find it loud enough as is, mine used to totally drown out my mates classic with a decatted straight through system at idle

If people grumble at the burble as you slowly drive home then they need educating what it sounds like at 5k rpm from time to time... they should be grateful!!
